thursday’s thought

life in blush thursdays thought_March 5 2015

Each day we have the opportunity to practice hate, jealously, greed, resentment, lies and ego or love, hope, humility, kindness and truth.

In this picture of Kevin Richardson, an animal behaviorist who’s bringing awareness to the 15,000 -20,000 lions left in the wild, I see as much gratitude and love being passed from the lion to Kevin as it is from Kevin to the lion.

A bond was formed between Africa’s dominant predator and the man who came to them without ego, but the will to understand and protect them, and I can’t help but wonder what the outcome would be if we applied that thinking in our own kingdom.

Never forget that those who look inward to heal themselves and practice love not hate will be the ones to eventually look outward and heal the world.

This photo is so moving. Thank you darling.

    • And thank you Kat for being such a huge fan of Thursday’s Thoughts! Means the world to me 🙂 xoxox

  • I once heard a similar quote that goes, “Love whenever possible. It is always possible.” This is such an interesting story and a truthful quote.

    • What a beautiful quote and so true! Loving is always possible because it’s a choice; and humans are empowered with the ability to make choices in life. Thank you for sharing that! xo
