thursday’s thought

life in blush thursdays thought_a flower does not think

You’re a woman. You know what I mean when I say women can be cruel b*tches. As the product of our environment, living the stress of competing in a “man’s world”, we become jealous and competitive, ready to step over any gal that blocks our view of the end goal.

But when you’re lucky enough to be surrounded by a sisterhood, a sister tribe, like I am then you know what can actually be achieved when you support one another.

True radiance.

Radiance encompasses personal success and happiness, integrity, beauty, compassion, honesty, love and the embracing of one’s feral side.

This week’s thursday’s thought is dedicated to all the women that delight in letting the flowers beside them bloom without constraint. I celebrate you! xo

  • Living life for one’s self, instead of comparing and doubting. It’s always better to be doing something for yourself than to please others. Lovely sentiment, Sonja!

  • This is one of my favorite quotes, Beauty! I treasure our sisterhood. It is a precious connection to have and I’m most grateful for you. And when I lose my ground, I do have a helpful place that realigns my thinking (after all, it’s all on the mind!)
Every time I sink into thoughts of jealousy or competition, I know to immediately question myself: “Where do I feel ‘lack’ right now?” It has nothing to do with the other person. As soon as I discover where it is stemming from within myself, I’m able to stop it because I know that it’s imagined, a misperception not grounded in reality. Then I remind myself that I have all that I need, that everything is designed according to a greater plan, and I’m able to refill my cup. Thank you for sharing this wonderful thought today. XOXO

  • Life can get ugly as is, so let’s celebrate true beauty in and around us.
Amen, sister! —> “Radiance encompasses personal success and happiness, integrity, beauty, compassion, honesty, love and the embracing of one’s feral side.”
