thursday’s thought

tony soprano

One of the things I loved about the late James Gandolfini’s character ‘Tony Soprano’ was the fact he didn’t waste a second caring about what anyone thought of him. I, for one, freely admit I waste too much energy obsessing over what other people think of me and what I do rather than focusing that energy on getting the sh*t done in my life. Dr. Seuss said it best when penned these now famous words…

Be who you are and say what you feel, because those who mind don’t matter and those who matter don’t mind

…and that’s exactly the mentality I plan to adopt this year.

definitely not easy, but worth striving for! I can think of much better ways to spend that energy than fussing over people’s opinions. happy new year! xo
