springtime hair makeover?

my current hair colour

This weekend I’ve got a date with my stylist to touch up my hair colour and, as a girl who likes change every now and then, I’ve been questioning whether I should keep the same hair colour I’ve had for years or, like the start of spring, should I start something new?

The options I’ve been debating about thus far are: the gorgeous shade of brunette Michelle Dockery is rocking as Lady Mary in Downton Abbey

my option - should I be a brunette

or, reaching way back into the time capsule of life to when I was 6 years old, a sandy shade of blonde.

my option - should I go blonde

Help me choose! Let me know in the comments below if you think I should a) keep my current colour; b) switch it up with a glossy shade of chocolate; c) go back to the colour I had as a kid; d) suggest another colour. I can’t wait to see what you guys think!

Ok, a little late to the party, but I’m in the blonde camp. Much easier to maintain in the spring/summer, and, you know, very summery 🙂 I’m thinking something like Jennifer Aniston “blonde” (yes, I went there, don’t usually talk about Jennifer Aniston, but she’s got that “not-blonde blonde” or “sandy blonde” down).

  • I’d say brunette with “natural” sandy blonde highlights to evoke summer days!

  • Blonde!

I like the sandy blonde -a big change, go for it 🙂

OPTION 2 so I can go around calling you Lady Sonja

  • BLONDE!!! You can always change it back if you find it too drastic 🙂

Both I think would suit you wonderfully. But I think that blonde could be fun for a change, a bit of a uplifting glowy summer look. I’d say to ask your stylist too, they have an eye for what will look good on your skin tone.

Yes, time for a change. I think Michelle’s brunette is a stunning shade that would suit you. Happy salon day!
