ritual indulgences (palo santo style!)

palo santo

Lately at the end of a long day, or week, I’ve come to look forward to a new ritual.

Instead of giving in to my mental wish to do this …

… I instead have been burning a stick of Palo Santo to fill the air with a sweet and woody scent that’s instantly calming.

Palo Santo means ‘holy wood’ and the Incas would use it to cleanse and purify the spirit from negative energies. Shamans even used it spirtual-religious rituals as a tool to attract good luck and communicate better with the spirits.

I’ll take it all.

Do you have any daily, weekly or one-off rituals that you like to indulge in? I want to know!

Happy Friday blushers, thanks for joining me this week and have an awesome weekend! xx

    • Ahh thanks Kat!! That means the world to me. I’m actually burning some palo santo sticks now as I work on tomorrow’s post 🙂 Hope you’ve been having a great weekend! xo

  • I’m super into rituals and Palo Santo is a staple for me. I noticed that they more ritualistic I make my meditation practice the more I look forward to it! xoxo
