{review} r.l. linden & co thousand petal beautifying mist

r.l. linden beautifying mist

When I first popped the cap on this little beauty and spritzed it over my face I believe the words “ohhhhh my gawd!” escaped my lips. Not only did my face get a burst of freshness, but it was as if I had jumped into one of those sidewalk paintings in Mary Poppins’ and was surrounded by a ridiculous amount of fragrant flowers. I was energized and suddenly very peppy.

Started by two besties, Robin and Lynn (certified Master Nutrition Therapist and award winning tea blender respectively) who wanted to create a line of pure, plant-based and organic ingredients, their products are crafted in small batches and packed in gorgeous, reusable black glass bottles (gotta protect that treasure inside!).

The Thousand Petal Beautifying Mist, from R.L. Linden & Co, not only tones and hydrates all skin types and wraps your senses in aromatherapy love, but it also offers up a very unique element. Flower Essences. Made from the flowering parts of wild plants, bushes, trees, these particular herbal infusions instill inner beauty, awakens the spirit, energizes and stimulates passion. And I’ll let you in on a secret – I found myself running back to my vanity table throughout the day to spritz on some more just so I could get another hit of jasmine.

umm that would be a yes.

Skin benefits aside I’m purchasing a full size purely for its ‘happy place’ inducing aromas. It’s been awhile since a product’s intoxicating scent has stopped me in my tracks and gave me a few moments of pure bliss. In my books that’s priceless.

they definitely are gaining in popularity and it’s not hard to see why. Simple ingredients, effective results and made by two adorably cute friends 🙂

Another product, with a very impressive list of synthetic-free ingredients, that looks like it definitely should be invited to that skincare party today!
