{review} r.l. linden & co. limited edition collection: autumn

RL Linden Autumn Box

With the winter solstice only about a month away I’m a touch late in reviewing R.L. linden & co.’s “limited edition seasonal collection – autumn”,  but I prefer to think of this as my fashionably late review as you can thankfully still order this take-me-to-my-happy-place box on their site (here).

close call

Robin and Lynn, the incredibly sweet ladies behind this brand … I mean just look at them! …

robin and lynn

have over 30 years combined experience in creating all natural skincare, bath and body products and teas and reached out to me to indulge in their latest seasonal box of treats. I’ve been in love with this brand since I tried their healing rose balm and thousand petal beautifying mist so I immediately replied YES!

arrested developmentUpon tearing open the box, these were the treats that were eagerly waiting for me:

happy

I have to say Robin and Lynn did an incredible job creating blends for all four products that captured the essence of fall while providing a hint of winter to come.

rest your bones bath soak: first off this is perhaps the best bath soak I’ve ever tried. Bold statement I know, but the aroma convinces your brain that you’re standing in the middle of the woods, snow lightly falling with a crisp air to boot and the intoxicating smell of evergreens surround you. Rest your bones (and mind) is right ladies!

ritual no. 2: sweet and sultry with perfect hints of chocolate and cognac exude a warmth that make me want to obsessively sniff it. It doesn’t work as a perfume on my skin, but I like to lightly anoint the tips of my hair so that I can keep the warming scent around me. (Side note: it may make you want to whip up a mug of mulled cider or a hot toddy…or that could just be me.)

lavender + frankincense cuticle oil: rosemary is the dominant scent for me in this blend and it makes me think of winter and Christmas. Not exactly sure why, but I love the fact that I get this mental association. Light in texture and quick to absorb, I’ve been applying this oil daily and have noticed a big decrease in dryness and in the occurrence of nasty hangnails. I also like to apply it before bedtime right after I slather my hands with shea butter and before I slip on mah sexy cotton gloves.

auntie elder’s immune brew: literally a hug in a cup. Literally.

I tip my hat to you ladies, this autumn collection is so good that it should really be part of your regular line-up. Now I can’t wait to see what your winter collection contains!

  • Everything sounds so nice! I love R.L. Linden. This box sounds like it has everything one could need for Fall/Winter! I especially need that Cuticle Oil…wish they’d sell it separately but maybe that means I have to pick up one of these boxes soon! Eek!

  • R.L. Linden sounds amazing. The problem is trying to figure out what to try first!

    • Ahh tough call! If you love facial mists then I’d HIGHLY recommend theirs. The aroma is kind of life changing.
