I don’t think there’s anything that makes me feel more whimsical than the idea of wearing a tulle skirt. Made famous by Sarah Jessica Parker in the opening credits of Sex and City, the tiered tulle miniskirt has become synonymous with provocative, yet simplistic elegance.

Since tulle is already a very feminine texture by nature you can juxtapose it against a leather jacket or leather top for an edgier look or bring edge to it through the use of metal accessories. Right now I’m obsessed with tulle skirts from Space 46, in particular this one, this one and this one.
