fashion friday

I technically refuse to acknowledge the Christmas holiday, and all of its wonderful parties, until the beginning of December when I’ve watched Love Actually (every year you’d think I was watching it for the first time by how emotional I get -especially the airport scenes at the start and end!). But since the Santa Claus Parade is this weekend holiday thoughts, and parties, have started to creep into my mind.

There are lots of wonderful, sparkly and colorful frocks with favourite accents such as tulle, gold polka dots, decorated bodices, or lace, but when it comes to choosing a holiday dress for myself I’m increasingly drawn  back to the classics. Simple and elegant, a classic dress will never wear you or overshadow your beauty.

One is never overdressed or underdressed with a little black dress – coco chanel

I too absolutely adore the movie Love Actually. There’s no such thing as seeing that movie too many times. And, I totally agree with you and Coco :).

    • It literally makes my day every year I watch it – I can quote the entire movie and LOVE every minute it’s on 🙂 thanks so much for reading and saying hello Jackie! xo

Can’t beat a classic black dress for any occasion …it’s timeless.
    Happy Friday!

    • yyyyyyuup! It never goes out of style so I’m totally ok with splurging on a quality brand 🙂
