happy thanksgiving to my fellow Canadian blushers! Apart from providing you with an extra reason to indulge in delicious food, this day highlights the little, and big, things that make your life fabulous each and every day.

One thing I’m thankful for is how many wonderful people I’ve connected with since starting life in blush, and as a way to say thanks I thought it was the perfect time for a giveaway!

I recently had a facial serum custom blended for me by julie clark of province apothecary and it can only be described as aca-awesome (note: if this reference just left you with a hard quizzical look on your face you need to watch pitch perfect immediately after entering this giveaway. trust me, it will make your day). My personal blend contained luxe, hydrating ingredients such as pumpkin seed, camellia, pomegranate and carrot root oils and essential oils of organic lavender and wild crafted neroli, rose, frankincense and patchouli. After applying it in the morning I swear my skin would whistle all the way to work if it could. But enough chatter from me – I want you to enter this giveaway today so you can experience the same kind of excitement!

    This must be the next wave in green beauty: the bespoke blend. It’s really a great concept & wonderful for getting something ideal for your skin’s needs. I love the oils that you got. The combination sounds rich, hydrating, and luxurious. How does your skin like it? xoxo

      Customized skincare is definitely the next wave – at least for me! I believe a one size fits all does not apply to our skin in all instances – we all have different diets, are exposed to different climates and cultures and are under different levels of stress – all of which affects your skin.

      My skin absolutely loves this blend – in collaboration with oil cleansing, regular exfoliation, and applying masks the effect is that much more amplified. I also mix a little water with the serum, or mist my face, so that my skin locks on to the serum and pulls it in at a much deeper level.

      I would highly recommend bespoke products to anyone who has the chance to try it out!
